Unbox the Detox, Stop the MUSTerbation, and Start Sliving, Babe!
While it’s important to have focused life goals and work towards achieving them, it becomes problematic when we approach vision boards and to-do lists as “must-haves” or “have-to” obligations, leading to what is referred to as “MUSTerbation.”
Filling our lives with endless “MUSTerbations” can result in anxiety, depression, and various other mental health issues. Dr. Albert Ellis, Ph.D., the father of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), defines the emotional and mental strain caused by these “must-haves” as MUSTerbation.
